Routes operating on Congress Avenue would be moved to Guadalupe/Lavaca in accordance with Service Plan 2020 to improve access to the new MetroRapid service, and utilize downtown transit priority lanes to facilitate service through the area. Buses would stop at northbound and southbound locations along the Guadalupe/Lavaca corridor on 12th, 8th and 4th Streets. The shift of service would enable easier transfers to Local and MetroRapid routes. Daily operations would be more efficient with less congestion, fewer event-related detours and offer a more direct trip. Capital Metro would also be able to offer additional stop amenities along Guadalupe and Lavaca with shelters and benches at all stops. Frequency would remain the same.

Route 100 MetroAirport would continue to operate along Congress Avenue, and will not be affected.
